The development of new products for the treatment of chronic inflammatory disorders based on natural medicinal salts from Siberia

The purpose of this project is to develop and manufacture natural products for human health care based on the use of natural medicinal mineral salts from Siberia. The resulting products are planned to be developed specifically for the treatment of patients suffering from chronic diseases, such as osteochondrosis, chronic dystrophic diseases of the bone, various pain syndromes and diseases of the skin, such as dermatitis and psoriasis. The products are also beneficial for the management of common inflammatory skin conditions through their incorporation in personal skin care products, such as soaps, shampoos, lotions and ointments. A special application for the products will be their use in preventative medicine for the people of Siberia, based on their noted favorable historical attributes for the management of stress-induced chronic inflammatory conditions, as experienced by the indigenous people in response to climate and other severe ecological parameters.

Planned results of the project: Use of natural factors (rapa, peloids) in regulation of a condition of oxidizing stress, the hormonal status and immunity at patients with chronic inflammatory diseases of internal organs, osteochondrosis, defeats of the joints, diseases of a skin (neurodermatitis, psoriasis), atherosclerosis and so on.

- Creation of an anti-inflammatory preparation and approbation of its efficiency in a complex treatment of patients suffering by chronic inflammatory diseases of internal organs.
